Cave Tubing

Belize boasts one of the most extensive cave systems in Central America, which the Ancient Maya utilized for shelter and ceremonial purposes. Here is an opportunity to experience this fascinating underworld in a unique fun way.

Departing from Belize City by road, the tour heads out on the Western Highway for 37 miles, turning off the road for 6 miles down to the jungle resort of Jaguar Paw. This is a beautifully located next to multiple cave systems within the rainforest.

The tour will follow trails through the forest with its abundance of flora, fauna and wildlife. At the end of the trail the tour will take to the water, relaxing comfortably on inflated tubes, allowing the gentle current of the river to draw them into and through amazing caves and caverns. Headlamps are provided, and the guides will make sure that nothing, including Maya artifacts, is missed.
